The sneaker pimp turns 30

My dear, dear Joe turned 30 last Thursday.

It was a stressful week, with loads of work in the office, organizing a despedida for one of the bosses, plus following up with Joe's friends to put together my simple birthday surprise...

But seeing him give a big warm smile makes it all worthwhile! Afterall, making him happy is the most important thing in the world for me.

White water rafting in CDO

Went to Cagayan de Oro last weekend with friends for some outdoor adventure. White water rafting down the "river of gold" was one helluva ride!

King of the Road

Joined the Adidas King of The Road marathon last Sunday. Given that I haven't had any exercise since December, I guess I did alright... at 226th place! But since it was only a 3K run, and with 408 runners (composed mostly of women, old women and kids), it was, in a way, pretty embarrasing. Hahaha! I didn't intend to exert too much effort anyway and strain myself. It was fun... especially walking hand-in-hand with Tots half way through the race. Maybe next time I'll run with a little more determination to sweat. =D

Php1 round trip airfare

This is awesome! With taxes and all, we got two roundtrip tickets to Boracay for only Php 3,990!!! Good job Cebu Pacific! Thanks to you, we're also off to CDO next week for our first ever white water rafting adventure!
